Celebrating International Women's Day

Sabrina Boumenikhra

Sales Assistant

In honor of International Women’s Day, we are highlighting a few of the women making an impact at Cray Valley. This month is an opportunity to celebrate the vital role and contributions of women in chemistry.

Meet Sabrina Boumenikhra, our Sales Assistant! She works to ensure operations run smoothly, improve team performance and increase customer satisfaction. Her goal is to facilitate communication and coordination between team members and customers.

Sabrina enjoys the variety of her work, which enables her to communicate directly with customers. In her role, Sabrina feels most fulfilled when she oversees projects from start to finish, ensuring they meet critical deadlines.

Sabrina notes that administrative roles can be undervalued, despite requiring complex organizational and management skills. She believes that self-confidence, professionalism and high work standards are effective tools to combat these stereotypes.

In the workplace, Sabrina feels confident in her strong organizational skills, deep knowledge of her role and extensive experience. As a result, she feels more grounded and effective in completing her daily work.

When asked about her advice for women entering the field, Sabrina said, “It’s about believing in their abilities and worth, not underestimating themselves and continuing to learn and grow.”

Sabrina views International Women’s Day as an opportunity to celebrate women’s rights and achievements. She notes that it helps raise critical awareness of professional barriers that exist for women in male-dominated fields.
